In summer 2022, we launched an Ireland Study Abroad program for University of Montana law students in partnership with University County Cork. The 2022 program focused on environmental law and policy, and constitutional law and policy, with an overall emphasis on international negotiations. The 2023 program is designed as a 2-week, 2-credit comparative law and skills course focused on international contracts and issues relating to dispute resolution of such contracts.
Our students are in class alongside UCC students, and classes are co-taught by American and Irish professors. There are also opportunities for social and cultural activities outside of class. The program lasts two weeks and UM students earn two credits.
